The city of Oviedo is located 20 miles northeast of Orlando in Central Florida’s Seminole County. The city covers 16 square miles with a population of 40,073 and a median household income of $97,374. Oviedo, originally developed along the shores of Lake Jessup, maintains a rural feel and is famous for the chickens that still freely roam the historic downtown area.
